  • Step 1: Choose the service and send in fee. (see breakdown below)
  • Step 2: The Mental Strength Assessments are sent and filled out
  • Step 3: Once assessments are submitted, a meeting will be set up (approx 1 to 1.5 hours)
  • Step 4: A follow up meeting occurs 30-60 days after initial meeting to reinforce the principles taught in our meeting.

The cost is $80 per player.  If the player number exceeds 50, the cost is reduced to $50 per player.  A 50% deposit is required to secure the training dates, the balance is due on the day of training.  The follow up meeting is included in this cost.

Multiple sports may be represented in the meeting, which may help achieve the 50 player threshold.  I have worked with as many as 4 sports at the same time.  The principles DO NOT VARY.

For those in financial need, we have a Memorial Fund in place to assist.

Coaches, administrators and parents are invited to attend at no cost. .

This applies to school leadership and governance also.  Info here

From Rockford HS:  “Coach McGannon. The girls finished 5th in the state championship and Jessica (our # 1 player) finished 3rd individually and was named to the Michigan Super Team. She shot 64 after our initial meeting with you!! Your training was instrumental in helping these players cope with the adversity and poor outcomes, thank you so much!! The assessment really set the stage for them to address their weaknesses. Our football team is aware of this training and will be in touch. Coach Scott Kruisenga’

The assessment is NOT A TEST, but s snap shot of how and why the player thinks the way they do before, during and after competition.  The assessment is the platform upon which our meeting will rest.

One of the best guards in West Michigan attended a mental strength session recently. This player was struggling with confidence, particularly anxiety after turnovers and poor play. In the very next game, here is the stat line. 21 points, 6 assists and NO TURNOVERS in a tight 2 point win over a conference rival.

(NOTE: D-1 player) I had a lot of freedom last year.  But I constantly worry about mistakes.  I expect to play perfectly. I often recall plays I totally messed up and I almost never recall the great plays I’ve made.  I know I have to reverse this. Your training flipped that switch. [/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text]

Coach Clarisse Garcia (photo below) comments:

“Coach McGannon, thank you SO MUCH for your expertise and wisdom in the area of mental strength.  As you saw in practice, we have some GREAT athletes and really competitive players.  However, many of them do not think competitively.  As your assessment identified immediately, we have players who get in their own way and often let poor play affect them.  We can’t wait to see you again before March Madness, I’ll be in touch on date and time!”
