Coach Batts is highly conditioned, powerful and a fundamentally sound trainer.  With older players, he will play 1 v 1.  There is no HS player in the area who can duplicate his speed, strength and skill. What this means is if you can hang with Coach even a little bit, you’re going to blow by area competition.  Coach was All area in HS, played college football at Davenport.
