Mental Strength TEAM Training

“Coach as you know we had just gotten beat by the same team we were playing in districts a short 10 days later.  I felt we could hang with them although they clearly had bigger, stronger athletes.  After our squad met with you, I have no doubt it helped in that second game, especially in the 4th quarter.  In the previous game we wilted under their pressure.  In this second game, we played with more poise, we didn’t over-react to our mistakes and we just played WAY BETTER!!  I have no doubt the team mental strength training from Basics played a big role in our ability to maintain our composure. We won by 10.”  

Effective for all sports.  Coach McGannon has worked with players from the following sports:  basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, football, golf, volleyball, track, hockey, lacrosse, tennis, figure skating, gymnastics.



Each training starts with an assessment which is broken down into three categories: Confidence, Handling Failure and Commitment/Attitude.   Coach McGannon will then discuss the PRINCIPLES of mental strength and provide actual TOOLS for handling weaknesses in EACH CATEGORY.

      • $395 for up to 20 athletes (10-15 is ideal)
      • For squads larger than this (football, track, or combined sports) we split the groups into smaller numbers.  Discounts available on the overall cost.
      • Once registered, you will receive a link to the ASSESSMENT to share with your athletes.
      • Meeting with Coach McGannon is then set up: 90 minutes
