Summer 3 v 3 Games

Great competition.  All in West Michigan

  • Outdoors in Spring Lake
  • Moved indoors in case of rain
  • 4 teams only in each age group

Includes:

  • LIMITED to 4 teams per division: 3-4 players permitted per team
  • Coaches encouraged BUT NOT REQUIRED.  Basics will coach teams (subs, strategy etc) that do NOT bring coaches. 
  • NO ADMISSION for spectators
  • GREAT COMPETITION, tons of REPS
  • 1 hour: 3 or 4 officiated games. 
  • Team Cost: $100
  • We may add a 1 v 1 championship if time permits. No extra $.

Coach McGannon comments.  I watch how off season basketball is managed with astonishment.  I can not believe how many players travel in an effort to improve when travelling is so inefficient and expensive.  Or if they wisely choose NOT to trvael, they still choose teams that emphasize PLAYS and STRATEGIES and GAMES before almost all the players can actually compete.  

These photos are a snap shot of the type of players we help build at Basics.  Their success is rooted in skill development, conditioning and mental strength, not in what team they are on, how many points they scored or what their record is.

  • Taylor Richards – AP Michigan HS player of the year (’15), attended over 200 X.  Cornerstone
  • Bradley Richards – (Taylor’s brother!!). Muskegon area’s all time leading scorer (2300 points and counting). Over 200 X  Cornerstone
