PARENTS: The correct ratio of PREARATION vs COMPETITION is 3 to 4 times as much prep-practice as games. Players-Teams who play as much or more than they practice have a limited shelf life. BB is the most highgly skilled game of all.

Alona Blackwell (Rockford gym only) was the 2019 Grand Rapids Athlete of the Year, played 4 years D-1 at Oakland and was all conference. Her 5th year (CoVid) was spent at Aquinas where she promptly set the school record for scoring (25 ppg). VIDEO

Private Training
Whether new to the game or an All State player, Basics privates help every player improve.
- Private training will assist in the player’s growth, providing required drills and follow-up to improve. NOTE: we MEASURE several primary skills, providing instant feedback as to the player’s level of skill.
- Private sessions are for 1 or 2 players; we do NOT charge extra for a 2nd player. Great for sibs or buddies.
- Mental Strength Training The Basics Mindset is an IDEAL choice in tandem with private training
